Root compromised Douglas Fir removal

Bobtail Enterprise completed the removal of an approximately 120-foot Douglas-fir that had sustained root damage during the December 2025 windstorm in Libby, Montana. Due to the tree’s extreme lean toward the residence and its close proximity to the home, the removal required technical climbing and controlled rigging.

The majority of the limbs were rigged and lowered in a controlled manner to prevent damage to the structure and surrounding property. The project was completed safely, efficiently, and without incident, demonstrating Bobtail Enterprise’s ability to manage high-risk tree removals in confined residential settings.
